Family Vacation 2018 Zion National Park: Vegas Days

The rest of the days blur into one great sunny day.  Tuesday morning we woke up excited to play with Cousins.  Gwenevere had spend the night in Kristi and already enjoying endless amounts of cousin time.  Tuesday and Wednesday we spend hanging out at the  pools or playing at the park.   I enjoyed visiting with my sisters and watching all the kids play together

After walking into the pool and needing saved this little guy was quite content just hanging out by the pool.

Anabelle and Brooklyn sharing their shaved ice.  Favorite cousins.

Everett soon realized he could get more if he shared with the guys instead.  hahhahaha  the upside to having few boy cousins

Picnicking under the play structure.  The only place with shade.
I love you Gwenevere

Thursday evening we took a drive to 7 magic mountains and had a fun little photo shoot with Cousins at sunset.  Then we came home and had ice cream and water painted while watching a movie.

Friday morning we packed up and enjoyed one last dip in the pools before heading home.

I gave my kids ice cream for breakfast.  hahahhaha

waiting for our uber to take us to the airport.

I managed to leave on of our bags at security but after taking the train two more times we grabbed some lunch at waited for our flight.

The snacks where their favorite part of the flight.

Thankful this hyper tired kid passed out on our flight home and wasn't running around the airplane crazy tired.

James picked us up from the airport.  It was so good to see him again.

The trip was the perfect length.   I was ready to go home but sad to leave at the same time.

The kids keep talking about "the next time we go to Vegas..."

It's fun to be in the stage in life when all my kids are mostly independent and traveling isn't too stressful.

I can't wait to see where our next family vacation takes us.

Family Vacation 2018 Zion National Park: Day Four

I was so excited I was organizing my pictures and uploading stories onto our blog that I deleted all my camera pictures from day 4 before they finished uploading and I lost them all.  Sad face.

So instead you get my cell phone junkies.

Monday morning we where ready to end our adventures so we packed up quickly and checked out of our Airbnb to spend a few more hours in Zions before heading back to Vegas.

We took the bus to Zion's lodge and then hiked the emerald pools.  The algae that makes the pools green in color wasn't growing yet so the pools wheren't that exciting but the kids where so happy hiking and playing.  We ended up hiking an extra mile just because everyone was so happy.

Everett liked the green rocks

We found a crack in the rocks

After our hike we took the bus back to the car.  We made sandwiches and started our drive back to Vegas.

We arrived at the resort around 4pm.  Shortly after checking in I took james to the airport and returned our rental car.

Once all the cousins arrived we went night swimming under a full moon and thus began the second  half of our vacation.
