Weekend Happenings and happy Birthday Wishes to Grandma Sharolee

Grace was playing in Everett's crib and asked for Everett.  I placed Everett in the crib with Grace and the two of them where having so much fun I thought I'd get a picture of the two of them.  Grace was holding Everett's hands saying "We're dancing. We're dancing.  I'm Dancing with Prince Everett."  I ran down stairs and grab the camera.  I raced back into the room ready to take a picture of the cute moment only to be in horror as I realized Grace is standing on Everett.  hahahahhaa  My panic screamed scared both Grace and Everett.  After explaining to Grace that she can not stand on Everett she explains to me that she was only trying to help him stand.  ah.  Mixed emotions about this memory but still a memory worth recording.  That Grace, she keeps me on my toes.

Today we worked around the house and did come lawn care.  Grace and Gwenevere pulled each other around in the wagon.  Both barefoot and in dresses.  Sweet sweet sweet.

After working hard all day, we went to Baskin Robins for some yummy ice cream.  It was a Daddy-Mommy-Daughter- Daughter- Baby Date!

Gwenevere and Grace where good cleaners today!

Recap:

On Monday I started feeling better.  The sun was shining so the kids went outside to play.  I took these pictures

I love my tulips

I call this one Dino Baby

On tuesday we drove to the YMCA for Gwenevere's swim lesson.  It was a beautiful day and I love seeing James work as we drive into Tacoma.  His work is the little white building on the horizon.
After swim lessons we stopped by our friends (the Johnson family) for a surprise visit.  mostly because i missed them.  then i took the kids to pick up James second hive. When we got home James was already home from work and eager to install his second hive.

Bonding with the bees.  Don't worry I told the bees his lips are MINE

Wednesday Grace dressed up and did a beautiful Frozen dance for me.  Then i dressed up with her and we both danced.  She gave me a big hug and said "I wish we could buy you a purple crown at the dollar store."

I didn't feel like putting Everett in the bath with the girls this time,  it's too much work.  So Everett watched from a distance and had a blast.

Thursday we went to the YMCA for swim and gymnastics

Saturday we worked around the house.  James did most of the work,  but I got a chance to weed the garden and the girls where big helpers the whole day.

Grace got a hold of my camera and took this picture

Whenever I ask to take Grace's picture she starts spinning in circles.  I usually have to wait till she's dizzy to get a face shot.

Funny story behind this crazy picture below.  A while back I saw on Facebook a picture of a Mama holding all three of her kids in a yoga pose.  We where trying to replicate the picture and fell miserably.  Notice I'm not even Holding Everett or in a yoga pose.  LOL  I think I need a more patient photographer and more leg muscles.  But I'm trying hard to make this picture happen before the girls turn 18.

this is what it's going to look like hopefully. someday

After working hard all day we went to Baskin Robins for some yummy Ice Cream.  Grace and I shared a Strawberry Cheese Cake Ice Cream Cone and Gwenevere and Papa shared a Chocolate Peanut butter cone.

This is the girls playing babies in Everett's crib.

Sunday we had a wonderful lunch after church and then played in the car while Papa visited with the Bishop.  When Papa was done with his visit we drove to Dash Point, the rain stopped and we played in the sand enjoying a bit of heaven on earth.

Playing in the car

Pretending to fix the car

Pretending to do Gymnatics
Who knew cars could be so much fun.  I keep telling James that once our GEO dies for good we'll take the wheels off and make it into a play-fort.

the little white caps on the waves made me miss Hawaii TEN folds.

the girls and I really wanted to drive down to Portland and surprise Grandma with a birthday visit but we decided to wait so we could spend a whole weekend with her.  So instead we made messages in the sand for her.

Easter Happenings

The Saturday before Easter weekend James took the kids to an Easter Hunt put on by his work.  They had face painting, balloon animals, an Easter Bunny and an great Easter Egg hunt.  The kids had a blast.  Grace did NOT like the Easter bunny.  She refused to take a picture with him and took the long way to the car so she could avoid getting too close to him.

Grace wanted a Princess Anna Kitty cat face

Everett had a great very of all the happenings

Balloon animal time.  Gwenevere got a purple cat

Hunting for Eggs.  Papa was smart and had the girls look for eggs on the other side of the field.
When everyone else realized their was more eggs they came rushing over.  James said he had to grab Grace quick before she got lost in the swarm.  Notice in the background. the loads of kids

Papa took the kids to Home Depot after the Easter Egg hunt.  Daddy daughter daughter and Everett dates are the best.

Spring is in the air

This past Saturday James got Everett dressed and then came to show me.  It took me a second to realize they where both wearing overalls.

Despite all the sickies we had a great time coloring eater eggs.

Easter Sunday morning was simple but good.  The Easter Bunny left the girls a note reminded them to seek for our Savior as well as their baskets.  James put on some Church music and the girls found their baskets.  We all enjoyed the morning.  To be honest I was so sick that I don't remember the details of the morning.  James took charge and cared for everyone and everything all weekend long.  He's a pretty awesome guy who deserves some mt biking/backpacking alone time for all he's done the past few weeks.

So I'll just let the pictures tell the story

the girls got a big Chocolate Easter bunny

and Sunday sandals

Gwenevere got a backpack instead of an Easter basket
And Grace got a Frozen book

Everett got a egg toy that was a big hit.  Even the girls had fun playing with it.

Since we all had sickie germs lingering around we didn't get to attend Church, which was a big bummer for me.  But we enjoyed watching Mormon messages on the computer and telling the story of Jesus Resurrection for our Family Home Evening lesson.

Happy Easter Everyone

PS I can't believe I forgot the most important part.  While I was sick, my dear friend Sarah made us some yummy soup for dinner on Saturday and then my neighbor brought over some potatoes and ham for dinner on Sunday.  We are truly blessed with amazing friends.
