Growing Grace
Grace is 6 weeks old today, but it feels like she's a lot older. I don't see a little baby when I see Grace but rather a giant personality stuck in a baby body. I can't help but laugh when I hold her. She's stinkin cute. Grace loves to talk, she looks into your eyes and will smile and she holds her head up on her own. If I dear blink I might miss everything. She can't wait to grow up. Grace's go, go go spirit keeps me going.
As of today (9/28/2011)
Weight 10lbs 6.8 oz (65th percentile)
Height 21.75 inches (50th precentile)
Head Circumference 36.8 cm (25th Percentile)

Grace Ligaya Roemhildt (September 17, 2011)
Grace Ligaya Roemhildt. You are a joy to have in our home, We love your smiles, your looks of expression and your love for life. You make our world brighter and we are blessed to know you.
Grace was blessed on September 17th by her Papa James Bennett Roemhildt.
It was a cloudy day with small showers, we had the blessing at the church. We sang the song "For the Beauty of the Earth". Grandma Sharolee gave the opening pray, James blessing Grace and than Grandma Thomas gave the closing prayer. Those who participated in the blessing include: Grandpa Dan Thomas, Grandpa Robert Roemhildt, Uncle William Thomas, Uncle Max Baertlein, and Bishop Cranney. We had a light lunch after the blessing. Tanya and I made soups, Vangie made cupcakes, and Rachael made rolls. It was a beautiful day.

Eternal families
It is such a blessing to have an infant in the home. My testimony of eternal families had grown as I watch Grace's face light up as she meets some of her many aunts and uncles and grandparents. Grace is full of expressions and it is fun watching her as she tries so hard to focus her eyes and than responed with a smile when she is introduced to new people. Her spirit has come to realized those family members she is meeting for the first time on earth.
Grace loves her family and is excited to be here with the many members of our extended family here on earth.
I'm grateful to have faith in the gospel principle that families can be united for eternity. The joy that comes with being with my family is the greatest of all happiness. I'm grateful for Grace for the simple reminder of Eternal Families.

Celebrating 6 years of Eternity
I wonder when you stop counting the years of Eternity?
And everyday I spend with you is worth celebrating.
Happy Anniversary James
We celebrated our 6th year anniversary by going Go Kart Driving, and hitting baseballs at the batting cages. We purchased a delicious dinner at Frisko Freeze (smoothies included) and ate our dinner over looking the Puget Sound.
It was a fun date that reminded us to live young and play hard. I think for our 25th anniversary will go sky diving or something crazy like that just to remind ourselves how much fun it is to be crazy.
I love you James!

Call me Grace
Our little angel came into the world early Wednesday morning but trying to figure out who she was took a little longer. Finally last night, while James and I where talking with Baby Sister and asking her what she wanted to be called, it clicked. It was such a cool experience. We tried calling baby sister, Eleanora, Evelyn, Marion, and Alice but she just looked at us like that was not it. So we kept on trying. Finally we decided Grace fit her but she wasn't Grace Kahana like I had imagined. So we kept on searching. It was late last night when James came out of the bedroom and suggested Ligaya (pronounced "Lee-guy-a" meaning "Happiness" in Tagalog). Immediately it hit me. "YES" So James and I asked Baby Sister "What do you think of Grace Ligaya?" A look of satification came over Grace's face. It was a special moment, like meeting my baby angel all over again.

gwenevere's first day of Preschool (Sept 13, 2011)
Yesterday was Gwenevere's first day of home school Preschool. I think I was more excited about it then Gwenevere at first but now she's pretty excited to go to school like Papa.
Tanya and I have decided to take turns planning the preschool lessons. Tanya taught this week and she did an awesome job. First the girls learned about the days of the week, the seasons, and the weather. Then she taught them about the letter "A" and the color Red. Then she taught them a poem about two red apples. After that it was center time. The girls painted with Apples, beaded Apple jacks on Angel hair pasta, ate Animal crackers and Apple juice played "RED rover red rover" and read a book about Apple pie. It was a fun day.
