Mini Vacation

Last week Gwenevere, Alisha and I had the chance to go on a mini vacation to see friends and family.  Unfortunately James had school so he stayed behind and had his own staycation with lots of studying. 

We drove up to Camano Island Wednesday evening after dropping off Uncle Max at the airport.  Even though we got in late, Gwenevere and Preston where ready to play.  The next morning we hung out with Will and Jenni.  My car key broke so Will helped me get a new key so I could drive up to Whidbey Island to see Ashley and Paisley Brown.  Ashley is my adoptive Ohana Sister and Paisley is Gwenevere's.  We had a fun time visiting, even though it was only for a few hours.  That night we drove back home to be with James again.  A short but sweet visit.

Gwenevere fell asleep on our way to Ashley's house.  It was a beautiful peaceful drive.

Getting a picture of Paisley and Gwenevere was a little more tricky.

Playing with friends

For TWO days in a row Gwenevere's friend Katie has come to play.  It's been a super fun week.

The first day was spend hanging round the house and going Potty every 30 minutes or so.  If one had to go potty the other would go potty too.  Usually they both didn't actually go at that the same time, but both girls had dry panties on ALL DAY!  A first for Gwenevere.  Yippee

The next day we got out of the house and really partied.  

First we walked to the park.

After an hour at the park, we walked to Mac Donald's for launch.  Both girls loved their french fries and milk.  Surprisingly Gwenevere ate her entire Happy Meal: Nuggets and all.   And both girls were happy to find toy fairies in the happy meal.  Although their was some debate as to who had the pink fairy.  Both girls wanted a purple fairy "NOT PINK".  They took turns playing with the purple fairy and the launch was successful.
