Family photos I'll cherish forever

About a month ago James and I took the girls to Ikea for the first time.  We where standing in line getting ready to drop off Gwenevere at the play area, when I nice lady came up to us and started talking.  She interdruced herself as Kat Dela Cruz and said our kids where adorable and yada yada.  Then she pulled out her business card and said "I'm a photographer and I would love to do a photo shoot with you girls, for FREE."  sweet!

I called Kat a week later and we set up a time to have her take our pictures.  For the last three weeks I've been checking my e-mail 3-4 times a day hoping to see an e-mail from Kat and a few of the pictures she took. Well, tonight was my lucky night.  When I checked my e-mail a saw I had 100 photos to view I was one happy Mama.  The pictures are so amazing.  I LOVE them.

Here are just a few of my favorites.

Gwenevere had a fever and just wanted to rest

This is Gwenevere's thinking face.  I see it 6 or 7 times a day.  It's may favorite

We tried taking couple pictures but Gwenevere was insistent she needed to be apart of the picture.

Grace loves to play with Papa's ears

No wonder Kat wanted to photograph our babies, they are MODELS

Our girls get their good looks from the Papa

I think a pair of feet can tell you a lot about a person or family

I thank my Heavenly Father everyday that my girls have a very loving Papa

We're missing someone

Have you ever had the feeling you're missing someone?  I've felt like that for the last two days.  And I'm not the only one.  Gwenevere has more than once run down the hall, yelling  "Alisha"

Monday night was are last night with Alisha.  We're happy she can go to Provo and party all summer with Auntie Grace, but we miss her.  My heart broke when I was explaining to Gwenevere that Alisha was moving.  Gwenevere looked at me all sad and said  "You mean she doesn't like me anymore?"  I almost started crying right than.  I quickly explained to Gwenevere that Alisha will always love her but Alisha needs to go because it's the best thing for Alisha.  I don't think I was ready to let Alisha go, but I'm excited for her.

One last picture before she goes.

And these are the suitcases to prove she's not coming back.  :-(    (at least not for a while)

I know it will be good for Alisha to spend the summer in Utah, but I sure miss her.

We love you Auntie Alisha

Slides

Yesterday we went to the park.  We mostly played on the slides.  Gwenevere isn't much of a slide kind of girl but yesterday she really enjoyed playing on them.  I think it's because the Telfords gave us their old slide and Gwenevere LOVES it.   Thank you Telford family.

Grace also enjoyed the slide and I even let Gwenevere hold Grace so they could go down the slide together.  To be honest I was a bit nervous but Gwenevere did a great job.

Growing Grace

Grace is 8 months today!  Last night James and I where cuddling with her, having some one on one time, when an overwhelming feeling of love for my little girl over powered me. Wow!  I know I love her but wow!  I'm truly blessed to be her mom.

Grace Ligaya, you are who you are.  Full of grace and happiness.  We couldn't have pick out a better name for you. You are such a blessing to have in our family.  You seem to make me laugh all day long.

You're growing up quickly and we're proud of your progress.  We can see your excitement for life and it brings us joy to see you here on earth.

While Gwenevere has preschool, Grace gets to play with the big boys

Crawling even faster these days

I wasn't prepared to see this the other day
