Sundays are my favorite day. There's something about pausing from everyday life, taking the time to reflect, renew and rejoice in a higher power.
Papa took the girls on a hike this afternoon. I stayed behind so I could call my sisters and plan meals for our up coming reunion. Yippee! My heart starts beating faster and I get gigglely when I talk about the reunion, I'm so excited.
But while I'm waiting for the call I decided to blog. I feel like a piece of my soul is missing. I haven't been able to blog as much as I want lately. Life is busy. Sometimes it gets too busy, but that's what makes for interesting blogs, so I can't complain too much.
This is how we roll
It seems like over night these two have become best friends.
It makes me so happy to see them play together.
And laugh together.
There favorite thing to do is wrestle
Morning playtime, seems to be my favorite
We renewed our zoo pass and I've been in heaven ever since.
James' is a chick magnet. hahahaha
Grace loved the budgies too
Thanks Sara for coming with us
Rainy days at the zoo are the best. The animals are more active in the rain.
After the zoo Sara took us to her place for a BBQ and some swimming.
Grace loved the water. She's screaming with delight in this picture.
One morning while I was doing Apartment work Gwenevere asked me to take a picture of her.
This was the pose she wanted.
We also took a trip to the children's museum.
It was quite the gang.
Painting at the children's museum.
We took the train, max Link whatever you want to call it, to the museum. On the way home it started to rain we where all soaked by the time we got to the the train center.
Nothing better than cuddling with a friend after a morning of play at the children's museum.
We went back to Sara L's house for pizza.
It was a GREAT day.
Grace sure likes her rice.
Maybe I feel so busy lately because our nights are so eventful.
Neither Grace nor Gwenevere have slept through the night in the past three weeks.
After another tiring day, Gwenevere asked to sleep in Grace's crib, to encourage sleep we agreed to her request, but that meant Grace needed a place to sleep. So the laundry basket became her bed.
that night turned out to be one of our better nights of rest.
I hope these sleepless spell brakes soon.
And one of my most favorite days of the year, Duck Days, took place on Saturday.
We had a blast watching the parade go by, eating free hot-dogs that actually tasted good, exploring the fire department and taking pictures.
We got a good laugh at Mickey profile.
Mickey needs to go on a diet.
Grace loved the ducks until I handed her over to one.
Gwenevere came straight from ballet
Showing off her cool firefighter tatoo
Gwenevere was afraid to stand by the fire truck by herself.
Grace's first time standing by the fire truck
We come home and all took naps.
That's all folks.
