15 weeks and counting

Each Wednesday morning when I check my e-mail I get a letter from babycenter.com.  These are probably my favorite e-mails all week.  Except for Grace's mission letters.  Here's what today's e-mail said.

Hello, Elizabeth!
Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam.

Dear Elizabeth,

How come they call her a her in each blog. Is that what you are having? Whatever it is will have a special Mom and Dad.

We don't know the sex of the baby and we're not sure if we'll find out. But I'll keep you posted.

haha those emails always annoyed me too because they always ALWAYS refer to the baby as a "she", and obviously with having two boys it was hard to read.

And I always never understood why the models in the phots never looked more pregnant. LOL
