Austin's Graduation

We drove down to Portland for Austin's Graduation on Friday.  It was our first attempt for a day trip.

When we got down to Portland we visited with Grandma Sharolee and then went to Red Grandma's house to hang out with Austin and Michelle.

We then left Gwenevere with Grandpa Roemhildt, Uncle Dano and Uncle Austin while James and I went with Grace to look at a car.  Yep, we bought the car.  Aunt Merlene passed away last month and she kept her car in great condition.  It's nice to have something of Aunt Merlene's it makes us feel like she's still with us.

When we turned back to Gwenevere it was time for Austin's Gradution.  We walked to the high school from Red Grandma's house and Grandma Sharolee saved us some great seats.

Waiting for Graduation to start.

All 460 sum graduating Seniors.
Austin was part of the number 2  Can you spot Austin?

the Graduation ceremony was wonderful.  The principal repeatedly complemented the music program and the seniors who participated.  Yeah Austin.

the entire band yelled for Austin when he walked a crossed the stage.

When all the seniors had walked the band started playing and there where fireworks going off in the back ground.  It was so cool.

We found Austin and Michelle on the football field after Graduation.

They wanted to pose like civil war soldiers.

After I took way to many photos we went back to Red Grandma's house and then to Sherry's for some yummy dinner.

I think Austin was tired.

We finished eating dinner about midnight and since we where all tired we decided to spend the night at drive home early Saturday morning.

Thanks Austin for inviting us to your Graduation.

We are so proud of your accomplishments and excited to see you find joy in your future.

Congratulation on your acceptance at Portland Start University.

So I guess the attempt at a day trip didn't work. HEHE! That's exciting you could go. And I didn't know that Austin was accepted to OSU.
