Living and Loving

We renewed our zoo pass and added to our membership a family pass to the North West Trek.  

I'm so excited we did.  Tuesday we took our first trip to the NW trek and had a blast.

The weather was party raining which gave us a chance to use some pretty cool rain gear.

We took a 50-minute, naturalist-guided tram tour winds through 435 acres of meadows, woods, and lakes filled with native wildlife.  We saw bison, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and the first fawns of the season.  

If you look close you will see the baby fawn fallowing it's mother.  Our tour guide said the fawn was only a day old because of it's size.  

When we finished the tram tour we went and walked around the park.  We saw beavers, otters, fishers, foxes, wolves, bears, eagles, owls, and many other cool animals.  My camera battery was about to die so we didn't get a lot of pictures but here are few we did get.

We can't wait to go again.  

We can get three guess passes each time we go so who wants to come with us next time?  Children 2 and under get in free.  I also have a few 50% off coupons we can use if your family is larger than 3.
