If the savior stood beside me

Last week I renewed my temple recommend.  During the meeting I invisioned meeting with my savior.  Oh how wonderful that will be.  I felt guilty saying yes to the questions asked, not because I was lieing but because life is more complicated then yes and no.  Instead of answering yes I wanted to reply "I try".  I know my savior understands.  That's it.  That's all I wanted to say.  I'm trying.
