Today Gwenevere painted for the first time.  She loved it.  She painted 4 pictures and used the water color black the most.

A new tent for a growing family

this was our first family tent.  a 2 person plus back packing tent, we hope to use more of in the future.  James dreams about taking the kids backpacking one at a time.  And this is the perfect tent to start off with.  But we are quickly out growing it for the time being.  So.......

We are happily growing into something big.

Super Saturday

Saturday was super.  Everything you could ever want in a weekend.  A morning date with my boyfriend (James) to REI WITHOUT the kid.  So fun.  Then a birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese.  Super fun. I forgot my camera (sad face)  So maybe i'll get pictures from my friend to add to the blog.  Thanks Box family for inviting us.  Then to Jo-Ann Fabric to by stuff for a sewing project.  And then home again for a nap and to play with our new toys from REI.


At the REI Garage sale we saved over 600.00  on some pretty cool stuff.  James found a bike pump that will attach to his bike and can pump up his tires to the recommended pressure.  I found a pair of children shoes identical to a pair I have for Gwenevere.  We found gaiters for cross country skiing and other snow activities.  James found a thromocup jet bowler thingy 100.00 off.  We got a second sleeping pad.  Now all we need is another sleeping bag and we'll be set.  And last but not least.  our favorite find out a 6 person tent that was a super good deal.

Playing with friends

For TWO days in a row Gwenevere's friend Katie has come to play.  It's been a super fun week.

The first day was spend hanging round the house and going Potty every 30 minutes or so.  If one had to go potty the other would go potty too.  Usually they both didn't actually go at that the same time, but both girls had dry panties on ALL DAY!  A first for Gwenevere.  Yippee

The next day we got out of the house and really partied.  

First we walked to the park. 

 And then we played

After an hour at the park, we walked to Mac Donald's for launch.  Both girls loved their french fries and milk.  Surprisingly Gwenevere ate her entire Happy Meal: Nuggets and all.   And both girls were happy to find toy fairies in the happy meal.  Although their was some debate as to who had the pink fairy.  Both girls wanted a purple fairy "NOT PINK".  They took turns playing with the purple fairy and the launch was successful.
