Saturday morning the girls were with Grandma Thomas at Auntie Kristi's house and Everett and I were in Kaysville sleeping in and enjoying a peaceful morning. When we where finally all packed and ready to go, Ali and I loaded up two cars full of kids (Jace, Annie and Everett in my car and Ben and Brookie in Ali's car) we headed to Auntie Kristi's house to join the party. Mark stayed behind to do some painting and Laura had a Primary baptism to attend.
Once we got to Kristi's house, Grandma thomas and Auntie Alisha needed to head back to Idaho falls. So we said our goodbyes. Then Auntie Grace came over to hang out and we visited for a bit until it was time for Kristi and her family went to go watch "The Football Game" and Laura to pick up her kids and take them to a cookie party with Mark's side of the family.
When it was just Ali, Grace and I left we visited some more and watched the kids play. Growing up can be so fun sometimes.
Auntie Grace found a naughty and nice list app and we had to test it out. Auntie Grace was on the naughty list but everyone else squeezed onto the nice list somehow.
Even Benjamin had a turn to find out what list he was on.
Then as exhaustion set in, we divided, Ali and Benjamin took a nap while Auntie Grace took us to see her home and meet her roomies. We had fun looking at Auntie Grace's American Girl Doll and snooping around her place. Then we went and picked up pizza. We meet back with Ali just as she was headed out the door to meet up with Uncle Seth. Then we where all going to meet up at Temple Square later that evening.
Boy was the a trail. Laura's car broke down, so Mark and Seth had to help them. Ali got stuck behind TWO different car crashes and traffic was a mess for her. Grace and I drove together thankfully and even though we where running way behind schedule ended up being the first people to arrive at temple square. We all managed to find each other in the large parking lot and then we headed to Temple Square.
The evening was Perfect. The kids led the way. They stopped when they wanted to stop and explore and we took are time taking in the beautify of the lights and the spirit,

| I can't tell you how much I love Ali. She and Seth make a perfect match. |
After that we went into the basement and watched a video about the nativity. When the angles came down from the heaven and sang unto the shepherds Grace turned to me and said "Is the for REAL?"
I told her that this it was true. and she was mind blown.
The story of our Savior is truly mind blowing.
We ended the night waiting an over an hour at the drive through for hot chocolate but in the end we made it home safe and sound.
What a wonderful day.
